I tried to purchase this item from a fabric store that I received emails from all the time & the price was twice as high as this merchant, so I got 2. I'm totally pleased with the product & the fast delivery.

I also have this Kaleidoscope Triange Ruler and while the cutting instructions are not terrible, I have been trying desperately to figure out how many strips, how long, etc so that I can actually use the Ruler. Also the website listed is unavailable so unless I can figure out the how-to of the fabric, this ruler will sit in a drawer till it gets tossed out with all the other useless things I have purchased over time.

I bought this triangle to make a kaleidoscope pattern pillow and have since made an entire queen sized quilt because using this triangle makes it so easy. At first when you look at the triangle there are so many markings on it that it seems that it will be so complicated but the instructions are VERY easy to understand and make it so easy to make a perfect kaleidoscope quilt square of just about any size.
<br />I would recommend this product to anyone who quilts!

As a quilter for over 20 years and as a quilting teacher looking for ways to inspire the women I engage through quilting I have to say that from the first page I was truely inspired by this collection. I am not one to look at quilt art books but this book was given to me as a gift. if fabric could speak, this collection of quilts and the stories behind their creations will speak to your soul. This is a book about women expressing themselves through fabric and sometimes other media in its purest form -- as it has always been, as it was always meant to be. [...].

I was so very pleased with Sunbonnet Sue Visits Quilt in a Day. I received it in less time than was listed in the order and it was in very good condition. I was happy to get the booklet; I look forward to purchasing more books from Amazon.

Once again Eleanor Burns has written an easy to use and easy to understand booklet. This time Sunbonnet Sue and Sam are so cute and this method makes it fun to do handwork again. You can apply this method to other applique work and that makes me want to get out my needles again!

I bought this book for myself because of Eleanor Burns. Her books are so easy to understand. The book is in black and white with some color photos of Sue & Sam. You get directions for a wall hanging (18 X 32 1/2) all the way up to a double coverlet (76 X 89). This book tells you how to make the patterns using an interfacing you have to trace the pattern onto. I have gone to Eleanors website and bought the preprinted fusible interfacing. Makes it much quicker and easier IMO. This book reminds me of the quilts my grandmother used to make. A little old fashioned, but you can change how the Sue's and Sam's look by using different material and things like lace, buttons, ribbons, and rickrack. The book does come with a pattern for Sue & Sam and a kite & tie.

Eleanor meets Sue in one of the most delightful of her quilting how-to books. If you're familiar with Ms. Burns' books and/or videos, you know that she's getting better with almost every volume...clearer instructions, more detailed illlustrations, and enticing photos of the finished projects. An added treat in her Sunbonnet Sue volume is the clever series of illustrations featuring the famous little faceless lass engaging in the various steps in quilt-making (Sue earnestly plugging away at the sewing machine, etc.) This would be an excellent addition to a quilting library, and even a great first-time quilt project. Thanks to Eleanor's consistently excellent instructions, you'll be able to follow along with no difficulty...and even a chuckle or two.
